Type Approval Indonesia
Under
National Telecommunication Act No. 36 year 1999, certificate of
approval is required for every telecommunication and ITE equipment
entering Indonesian territory. The certificate of approval is issued by
Directorate General of Posts and Informatics Resources & Equipments
(SDPPI).
Certifications are granted at the system (host) level and the certificate is valid for each type or model number of equipment while product or model series certificate or type approval is not acceptable, stated in Ministerial Regulation No. 29/PER/M.KOMINFO/09/2008 and renewed to No. 18/PER/M.KOMINFO/2014 as annex to the Act No. 36 year 1999. Two types of certificate available, Certificate A is an approval certificate intended for manufacturer, and Certificate B is an approval certificate intended for local representative/ distributor/ importer of such equipment. but last year certificate A and B has removed from regulatory. then it makes every piece of certificate is equal, no more dividing between A and B
